The Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library offers a range of volunteer and internship opportunities. From sorting donated books to assisting with events or serving on a committee, you can play a vital role in helping the Friends support library programs and promote literacy throughout Miami-Dade County. Flexible roles and hours are available.
Help adults learn to read and change their lives! Become a Project L.E.A.D. (Literacy for Every Adult in Dade) tutor and make a meaningful difference. This Library program provides free, one-on-one, confidential tutoring to help English-speaking adults with low literacy skills improve their reading and writing. Free tutor training is provided.
